Booth Babes Yield to Booth Dudes

booth_dudes.jpg

It seems the booth babe trend has passed and in its place, a new trend has appeared: The Booth Dude. A visit to the CPA Empire booth will offer you the anti-booth babe, a fine collection of the male specimen clad head-to-toe in white tuxedos. Definitely an eye catcher and, dare we say, as eye catching as booth babe cleavage. Yes, a new trend is upon us at ad:tech. Relish it until its days are played out and it turns in to a Chippendales nightmare.

I saw them. I was afraid. I ran.

(Actually, it was more like squeezed through the 1.5 million people there.)

I guess it depends on who your target buyer is. If it's someone who has interest in men, then it only makes sense, right? It's marketing, gents, pure marketing.

The King of Spam used a single Babe with angel wings last year.

I felt like I was walking into my SPAM folder when I entered Ad:Tech this morning. So much junk everywhere and people crowding you with their lame tchotchkes. Don't these people heed their own advice?

Dan: Great visual -- that you were walking into your spam folder. I felt much the same way:

Speaking of tchotchkes -- if anyone knows what the hell that little gizmo handed out by superpages.com is supposed to do, can you clue me in? It's green, it has a clip, a silver button that causes the top to swivel open, a couple of foam pads, and no discernable practical purpose.

ah! I just imagined if someone from an Islamic religious country intended to get a booth there (just like Iran or Saudi!) then I expect babes under things like those mens! :))
