It's definitely one Web 2.0 (damn, I hate using that buzz word) thing that seems to have stuck.

That video killed Twitter for me. It took an interesting and fun little application and made it incredibly boring, overlong and pretentious.
At least you got through it. I got bored about 45 seconds in.
