Jetblue Improves Flying Experience with Shiny New Euphemism

happyjetting.jpg

To keep wandering eyes from noticing it has stopped being cheap and its service has gotten all gnarly, Jetblue has launched "Happy Jetting" -- a campaign that encourages you to think that when you fly Jetblue, you ain't flyin', baby. You're jetting.

Right now I'm loving how the site, which is supposed to preach the benefits of Jetblue's user friendliness and "jetting" philosophy, hosts jack beyond an error page.

Way to jet, idiots!

People have been flying for too long to get suckered into fun lifestyle words about it. More accurate than "jetting" would be "welcome to:

-cramped legrooming
-stale airing
-ground delaying
-fuel surcharging
-free pretzel mixing

the website works it just says coming soon.

and how does this apply to jetblue-

-cramped legrooming-(most coach legroom in the US)
-stale airing-(what?)
-ground delaying-(besides the valentines day mess theyve been fine)
-fuel surcharging-(thats called part of the fare, everyone does this)
-free pretzel mixing-(jetblue is the one with all the snacks and doesnt charge, your thinking of other airlines)
