'Saw III' Splatters Actor's Blood All Over Promotional Posters

To promote slasher flick, Saw III, actor Tobin Bell, who plays Jigsaw in the movie, will have his actual blood splattered across 1,000 promotional posters in 25 markets. Lionsgate will sell some of the posters for $20 and donate the money to the America red Cross

This is derivative--same thing adidas and TBWA did in New Zealand with rugby posters.

Uh. Does the money going to the Red Cross support the creepy things that might be spread by passing someone's blood out across the country? Or am I just being too optomistic about the demand for blood-splattered posters?

If they show these in Magic Johnson's theatre chain, the posters won't be able to enter the lobby until they have a Band-Aid on them.
