Specialized Mocks O.J Chase, Bloodies Cartoon Character

specialized_bike.jpg

Aside the having been able to take a dump in the time it took these virally-intended videos for Specialized Bicycles to load, they're actually quite funny. Created by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners, one video gleefully tears a cartoon character's intestines out as he rides the Stumpjumper mountain bike and the other mocks the O.J. Simpson aerial chase. Both good. Both funny.

Specialized bicycles, is that what those were about. Both are funny, production is very good, neither tells me a thing about the product. If it doesn't sell it isn't creative. These don't sell bicycles.

i think these are great. at least they've got people talking... completely disagree with the "if it doesn't sell it isn't creative."

i think they are incredibly creative... a great way to drive people to the website where you can learn more about the products.

advertising isn't what it used to be. product front and center isn't necessary anymore- get out of the '80s, roy.

Me and my 80's (some 60's)ways will take you on any day in marketing and advertising. In this world if it doesn't sell it is a waste of the clients money. If it's only creative and doesn't sell it just wins worthless awards.

Get off the computer Roy. The nursing home computer hours are from 9-4. P.S. I loved your J.C. Penny insert.

"Chalupa grande on" did you buy a red one and ride it back home on the big highway? By the way did you buy the right brand?
