Never Hide: Out of Hiding.

Cutwater continues the more-or-less successful "Never Hide" effort for client Ray Ban. Here's four new online vids to kick off 2009.

Cow gives birth to man in loincloth and Wayfarers. For some reason we thought of Jackass.

White people mobbin' with cut-off shirts and mobile disco ball. Could alternatively be called "Middle America Brings the Party to You!" Fuckin' funny. And more proof that Aviators lead to a distorted self-image.

Telekinetic green nuisance. Normally everything about mimes makes me mad, but the toupee/picnic scene was preety agreeable. Like with ninjas, any humor involving fake hair is usually FTW.

Did a seagull just leave me a present? No, man, you're just standing in the shadow of a dangerously tall ice cream cone.

Note that they're more polished -- less YouTubey -- than the old stuff, without losing the irreverent joie de vivre that's served this campaign so well. We digs 'em. (With the possible exception of "Cow Birth.")

I'm actually a fan of the cow ad, mostly because it's unabashedly shocking, which is what it sometimes takes to make a video successfully viral online. Ray-Ban definitely took some risks, but I think they're paying off for them with the amount of coverage that they're receiving.

I have an ad that was wrapped on vans at vinyl posters around Sundance. If you want it email me and I'll shoot it over.

Kind of dumb. This whole campaign seems dumb.
