Idiocy + Idiocy = Stupid Binge Drinking 'Viral' Clip
A successful viral usually consists of stupid guys doing stupid things or women with big breasts playing the role of a bimbo. This lacks the latter but has the former in spades. This VCCP-created video (remember, it's just a video and not a viral until it becomes viral) from London's The Home Office hopes to call attention to the apparent plight of binge drinking.
To accomplish this goal, we have a guy pretending to make a video of people doing stupid things. But everyone declines and just watches the guy become ever more stupid and obnoxious. The video ends with the tagline, "If you wouldn't do it sober..." and our idiot passing out.
Apparently, we're supposed to realize this guy is sober (because he is certainly not drunk when he's performing his idiocies) and make the connection to the tagline. Why, then, do we see him suddenly passed out at the end? Was he really sober? Or was he drunk? Or was it all a dream sequence? The message is confusing.
Oh and yes, we get that he's trying to make sober people do drunk things. That part makes sense. But why does our oh-so-sober host suddenly pass out at the end? Something's wrong with the continuity here. That or we don't get British humor. Or we're just as idiotic as the guy in the video. You tell us.
