Cadillac Escalade Makes Dramatic Entry

As fashionistas eagerly anticipate the latest fashions on the runway in this Cadillac Super Bowl "Chrome Couture" commercial, this runway's a bit different. It's all wet and dark and mysterious with models rising out its glistening ooze. But the finale is what grabs everyone's attention. Rising slowly from the liquid is the new Cadillac Escalade. A very dramatic entrance indeed. See the spot here.

visual masturbation on cadillac's part. It said nothing about their vehicle only that they have one. I cringe at the amount of money being wasted on most of these spots.

I thought this was a decent enough commercial, but for one detail: the small-print "2007 Escalade Shown" notice which appeared before the vehicle had fully emerged from the liquid runway, completely eliminating any suspense or "Ooo, what is that?" factor from what should have been a grand entrance.
