Bud Light Photo Contest Offers Trip to Hawaii, Free Beer for A Year


Riffing off its recent "I'm Just Here For The Bud Light" campaign, Anheuser-Busch has launched Here 4BL, a website that encourages people send in pictures of themselves holding a "I'm Just Here For The Bud Light" sign. Pictures will be judged and the winner will be awarded a trip for four to the "Ultimate Bud Light Party in Hawaii. Fourteen weekly winners will receive free beer for a year. Of course, there's already women in bikinis and Hooters waitresses. Anyway, check it out here.

That's funny; these are all ad people and ab people from St Louis. Anyone recognize the Lake of the Ozarks where ab has a compound up there. How about the St Louis cardinal's Busch stadium. Ha, lame.

Obviously any ab program gets great support in St Louis. But I also see Pike Fish Market, Fenway, Indy 500, McGillicuddies, Ft. Myers beach, etc., etc. Daniel - you're not Oliver Stone. Try not to be so conspiracy-theory minded.

I actually met the guys responsible for this campaign and held a sign up at Fenway. I think its a great campaign that will get a lot of press and consumer attention.

That's a brilliantly simple promotion A-B. Now if we can just get them to extend that to Canada . . .
Now if we can only figure out a way to tie that into our Furniture Give-away for bloggers . . .
