Countdown Campaign Promises to Debunkify
Ah, yes. Another mysterious site with a countdown clock. Don't the creators of these sites, in this case, according to Whois information, Cincinnati Ohio-based hyperQuake, know this has been done a million times before? Do they think we will actually care what the countdown leads to? Are they so bold as to assume there is something unique about what they are about to announce? Oh wait. Of course they do. This is advertising and when we create cool campaigns like this we just know the entire world will be jonesing right along with us.
The countdown site, called Debunkify, is accompanied by a video on YouTube and billboards and TV ads in several Ohio locations. The billboards proclaim, "kill the myths before they kill you" and the site indicates all will be revealed July 10. OMG, we just can't wait. Can you? Yawn.

I doubt it is Arnold, there is an Ohio agency based out of Cincinnati, called Northlich, that handles the anti-smoking campaign for the state
Can you guys even read? It clearly says in the article, the site is registered to Ohio-based hyperquake - not Arnold.

Also, most people think second hand smoke is NOT deadly. This is completely untrue!! Every 10 minutes, a person dies from second hand smoke, someone who has never even picked up a cigarrette! 18,600 Ohioans die every year from second hand smoke!
If people continue to believe these misperceptions, these Myths, they are more likely to either start smoking or just not care!

it's just so annoying and tacky. and their website: worse!! it's all like being tricked into watching a video you find out is actually an afterschool special. ugh. at least make the website more interesting, and upfront. ew ew ew. i don't need to be tricked into thinking something is bad for me. it just makes it cooler to not do what you want!

I dont like certain things but you dont see me running weird ads and commercials.
I'm only 14 and I know how stupid smoking is I just don't understand why new people are starting,when you hear everyday on tv and school how bad smoking is people STILL DO IT!! Why would you want to be putting a deadly toxin in to your body when the feeling goes away in seconds. When you could be doing somehthing else instead of making your lifespan shorter and everyone elses!!!!!!!!!!
Smoking is so stupid. Hi, my name is Jessica and I'm 11. I have seen some stupid stuff but the # 1 stupid thing I have seen is smoking. Half of my family smokes. My grandpa died of cancer from smoking but yet people still smoke. Why don't they just go and kill themselves along with everyone else. I will never smoke. When people smoke around me I just wanna through up! Smoking should be baned. It's killing our population!
