Now here's one for the ladies and for everyone else who enjoys watching ripped men take their clothes off in a locker room. Oh yes, there's the occasional female prancing about as well but she keeps her clothes on. Clearly, this is not Virtual Bartender. Silly Girl Ariel points us to the new Levi's Lady Style site where the latest female denim styles can be checked out while ogling men seductively preparing to take a shower. Apparently, it's not all that exciting as Ariel dubs it's presented "in the most yawn-garnering fashion."
While it's quite common to see people disappearing into their own world while attached to their mp3 player and busting dance moves they'd never do if they knew people were watching, we're pretty sure most don't strip while doing so. Unless. of course, they're the Sixteen Candles Geekish type like the guy in this video touting the beauty of Philips Bluetooth headphones which simultaneously connect to your mp3 play and your phone. Created by Isobar and Lukien, the video illustrates why it's best to pay at least a tiny bit of attention to your surroundings. It's also a brilliant demonstration of the product's feature.
Fresh Creation tips us to yet another bit of salacious ad fun. If you've got time to waste and want to stare it thong-clad Sloggi models while making your own billboard with the Sloggi Billboard Director, have at it. Famous for their banned billboards and propensity to show as much ass as often as possible, the lingerie maker is now letting everyone in on the fun having. After all, why should art directors and photographers be the only ons to stare at ass all day long?
Catch Up Lady points us to what is perhaps the best car dealer promotion we've ever seen. Of course, that might not be saying much as we avoid their marketing like the plague but go with us on this one. Clay Automotive, located just outside of Boston, has created a hilarious but very informative video in which the seven ways car dealers take you are explained. Citing several terms associated with buying a car such as hosed, porked, betrayed, cheated and slammed, a very round man explains how Clay Automotive makes car buying a pleasure buy...yes...undressing. It's a metaphor, of course, for Clay Automotive's opening it all up and hiding it from the buyer. We say brilliant to this one. We just might travel to Clay to buy our next car.
Jim Beam has gone all beer babe on us here with a newish commercial that offers up the perfect girlfriend. She doesn't mind if you are fat or have back hair. She will like you if you watch a lot of football and won't mind if you leave her at home and go out with the guys all the time. She doesn't care if you don't buy her flowers and she has no problem with you going to the strip club. She truly understands your needs. What this has to do with selling bourbon, we have no idea. And, if there were such a girlfriend as this girl, you can believe you would be doing none of the above but rather ravishing her on the couch as she blathers lovable platitudes even as your happy ending is achieved in a paltry 30 seconds..
This commercial isn't in English but that hardly matters. The message is clear. Most women can't find anything to wear in the morning but those that do get all the attention from their office mates. While we're not sure not finding something to wear in the morning is actually a bad thing, we like the direction in which this commercial went with the notion.
Being blatantly stereotypical for a moment, we know cars seem to command a certain level of love from guys and it's not usually the women who become so enamored by them they do crazy things like flash a car with their lingerie-clad bodies. However, the Porsche in this commercial is the lucky one from the look of its rear spoiler. But, wait. There may be some anatomical incorrectness here or, at least some lesbian love considering most cars are referred to as "she" making this car's "reaction" a bit odd to say the least. But in this day and age of fluid sexual orientation, who's to judge?
Apparently Italy, Adrants and the dependable folk at Caffeine Marketing share a palate when it comes to coffee. Here's a coffee campaign that draws our attention in a way no Folger's ad ever could. Copy reads, "Italy's favorite coffee."
For Lavazza of Italy, ad photographer Eryk Fitkau marries the heady effects of raw, unadulterated coffee beans to equally intoxicating raw flesh. We're being sucked into the texture of the ad as we speak. We can almost smell it.
Oh ick. Coffee beans are oily. Romping around in them must be even worse than sand. And the smell! God the smell!
We've been focusing too long. Check out a variation of the ad right here.
Dare we say watching a woman stripping in a YouTube video is becoming a bore? It may be but since the readers of Adrants voted Anna, the woman who reads from the new book, Punk Marketing, while taking her clothes off to be hotter than Cleo, the other woman who did the same thing for the book, we thought it would be a disservice not to give you more of what you want. So, here she is for a second time; Anna stripping while reading Punk Marketing.
Jetpacks points us to this ad for Cesare Paciotti.
A date rape scenario definitely showcases the dress at a good angle. We often wonder how well our clothes look on us as we lie across the bathroom floor next to a pool of vomit that missed the loo. Next print ad, Cesare Paciotti?
